On Perception of Simple
At times we pass by, oblivious and aimless wandering in search of perfection. But it's just there, prepared plainly and purely undisguised and patient, waiting for perceptions to adapt, for visions to conform. The perception of simple is my kind of perfect. The kind that is unaffected, rich and familiar. The understanding kind... The type that remains unruffled and behaves and stays constant. Perfection is simple, the rest is what's changed.
Lovely photos! 🙂

Your words and images continue to make me homesick even though I’ve been away for so many years. Can one ever really leave one’s homeland? The last time I walked the streets of England my feet and heart felt so much at home. My sons will feel the same about Canada but I will never feel really at home here. I guess that is the quandary of the first generation immigrant – thank you for reminding me…

I promise, that is exactly my intention! And you keep encouraging me to get more photos of Cambridge, my home away from home. And the answer to your question… No! I always breath a sigh of relieve when I step foot in Portugal and was overwhelmed when I landed in Malawi.

Ah, so bitter sweet! We both obviously love where we are but the call of home always fills our hearts…

I’m a lover of simple (but meaningful) words. I found just that here!
